Photos of Rome in the Snow

This morning we awoke to find the Eternal City blanketed in white.  After breakfast, we took some photos of this rare and lovely event.  Watch out for snowballs.

The cloister in the center of the Collegio

It seldom snows in Rome.

Our backyard

Several students of our international College went up to the roof after breakfast.

Icicles

The dome of St. Peter's is in the background.

The view from our roof across the city

Less traffic than usual at this time of the morning

The front entrance

Some of the students never see snow back home.

Worth a thousand words
